Combining tradition with innovation: underfloor heating in a 20th-century library

The library is in an early 20th-century building originally designed as a summer residence for the Altisent family. During its renovation, the project preserved the building's historic character while expanding the ground floor to house new municipal facilities.

An underfloor heating system was installed throughout the library's interior, incorporating thermal insulation nub panels (EPS plasticized), a stainless-steel manifold, PERT-AL-PERT multilayer pipes, and a programmable digital thermostat. These components ensure energy efficiency and optimal thermal comfort for library users.
